Our Story
Hi, I’m Ilana (that’s I-L-A-N-A)! I grew up in sunny Los Angeles, California, and moved to Minnesota after marrying my husband. We now have three adorable children and love spending time together—especially when we get the chance to travel.
Wigs have been a meaningful part of my life for over a decade. My mother-in-law started this business more than 20 years ago, originally serving cancer and alopecia patients through a welcoming wig showroom in Minneapolis. She quickly discovered a growing need for people who wanted to make wigs using their own hair, and that side of the business grew into something deeply meaningful and impactful.
When I joined the company, I found I had a natural understanding of what makes a beautiful, well-crafted wig. I also brought in new advancements—introducing lace technology to the business and helping create wigs that look and feel more natural than ever. I studied and became highly knowledgeable in all aspects of lace work, and that expertise has allowed me to take our craftsmanship to the next level.
About five years ago, I officially took over the business as my mother-in-law slowly stepped into retirement. Since then, this work has become my passion and purpose.
What makes this work so meaningful to me is the ability to bring comfort, beauty, and confidence to people going through difficult journeys. Whether it’s hair loss from medical treatments, alopecia, or religious reasons, I know firsthand what it means to wear a wig every day—I do it myself. Because of that, I bring a unique perspective and a lot of care into everything I make. I don’t just create wigs—I wear them, live in them, and constantly strive to make them better.
Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to work with you and help you feel like yourself again.
